We support residential care homes, local authorities and independent fostering agencies to develop more attachment aware and trauma-informed services.
We offer training and consultation packages (most agencies choose to combine these services). We usually recommend a training package, followed by regular consultations so skills learned are reinforced and built upon with regular communication with a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist but please get in touch for a bespoke quote.

Example organisational package:
- Annual Empathic Behaviour Management Training for all staff
- Monthly half day consultation slot
- Monthly clinical supervision for managers
- Monthly workshop on topics of the agencies choosing (see training packages above)
Staff / Foster Parent Consultations explore issues that can impact upon carers or staff members and offer group or individual consultation sessions focussed around a different problem area each session. Example areas of focus include:
- Reflecting on practice and the needs of the children in care
- Understanding and managing risky behaviours
- Understanding attachment and relationship needs
- Developing empathic behaviour management skills
- Exploring possible educational issues such as avoidance or poor attainment
- Therapeutic intervention and helping to embed therapeutic care principles
- Supervision for Home Managers or Senior Leadership Teams
