Consultations

Children with complex emotional and behavioural needs can often really struggle in school. We have a range of consultation packages that might help.

Individualised Consultation

This package offers individualised psychological guidance to help make sense of a child’s behavior and develop strategies for supporting them in the classroom. This 3.5-hour package includes creation of an individualised psychological formulation and summary of school intervention strategies.

Group consultation

This is a group consultation to think about common problems in the classroom and the impact of working with children who are struggling to engage in learning. We explore attachment and trauma-informed ways of working with these difficulties. This is available to staff who have attended our ’Attachment & Trauma in Schools: An Introduction’ training. It is normally a 1.5-hour group.

Becoming an attachment aware school

This is consultation and advice for the senior leadership team in your school. Guidance will be given on embedding attachment and developmental trauma-informed ideas into school including advice on enhancing behavioral policies and making the most of Pupil Premium Plus.

Contact us if you would like to book any of our training or consultation packages. If there are other topics that you would like support from us on we would be happy to discuss creating something to meet your needs.
