The Child Psychology Service offers support for children with emotional, social, behavioural and mental health difficulties.
We can work directly with children or with the people who care for them including parents, Carers, Teachers, Social Workers, Health Visitors etc.

Dr Amber Elliott, The Child Psychology Service’s Lead Clinician and Director is a successful published author (“Why Can’t My Child Behave?” 2013).Dr Elliott has over fourteen years experience in the NHS and Local Authorities. She is a Chartered Psychologist, Chartered Scientist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, on the Register of Approved Psychology Practice Supervisors and is regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council.
The Child Psychology Service CIC is a Community Interest Company which means that it is not run for profit but to provide cost-effective psychological services to children and their families. We reinvest our surplus to improving the services we offer.
Many young people experience difficulties which impact negatively on their lives and it is not always clear to the adults around them what the best way to help is. If this applies to you it is possible that The Child Psychology Service could help.
The Child Psychology Service operates nationally throughout the UK. Our clinical services are primarily offered within Staffordshire, Shropshire, Birmingham and Black Country, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire. We may be able to travel greater distances to deliver some of our services.
